Get on Board Family Sailing Session

Come and enjoy a family adventure half day programme, setting off and returning to Dundee Sailing Club. This 3 hour session is to introduce people of all ages to come and try a combination of sailing and powerboating. You will be allocated your own qualified instructor who will take charge of the boat and train you up as able crew. Once you have been kitted out with the appropriate clothing and saftey equipment, you will be on the water for a trip on the Tay Estuary. Depending on the weather and tides, your boating adventure may take you down to the V & A museum to see it from a new angle!  By the end of your trip, you will have some basic boating knowledge and understanding of what ropes to pull as well as some basic steering skills. Your instructor will offer you pathways to what further courses that are available as well as what sailing club you could join without the purchase of your own boat.
